The above illustration is a very good example of how, using Photoshop or Illustrator, a photograph can be adapted for use as an illustration. These types of illustrations are becoming increasingly popular because, with the right know-how and software, they are relatively easy to create and they also fit with the latest trends.

The difficultly many graphic designers face though is that its hard to maintain a corporate outlook when using these types of illustrations as the nature of the conversion results in a graphic that is quite grungy. The output tends to be quite rough rather than crisp clean lines.

Of course, if you’re aiming for a true corporate graphic design solution and still wish to have something similar to the above effect it will simply be a case of reducing the amount of noise. Your graphic designer should be able to adapt the shapes and lines accordingly to give a more crisp output (if required).
